The seal of Half Moon Bay captures the balance that will epitomize my tenure as a city council member, focused on strengthening the foundation of our community as a place ‘To Live, To Work, and To Play’ (Vivir, Trabajar, Jugar). Half Moon Bay was harmed by bitter fighting among special interest groups that seem to take precedence over the interests of the common good at the heart of our community.  Now we are faced with massive debt, an unclear path forward, and more unsettled business to address.  We can do better for our community; I can do better for you.

• Economic Fundamentals – with emphasis on increasing revenue to mitigate the financial risk created by the $18MM Beachwood settlement


• Accountability – measuring and reporting tangible results relative to strengthening Half Moon Bay as a place to ‘live, work, and play’


• Strategic Focus – putting community interests first so that the silent voices of the holders of $18MM in debt, our citizens, are heard most clearly and are at the center of our focus
